Renee Shaening

Renee Shaening is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Partner in Technology Investment Banking at Alantra since March 2020, Renee has significantly contributed to the growth of the firm's technology practice focused on corporate finance solutions for technology companies. Prior to Alantra, Renee held the position of Managing Director at MVP Capital, LLC, specializing in telecom, media, and technology sectors. Other notable roles include Sr. Associate positions at Venturi & Company and ERCI, where responsibilities involved mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. Renee began a career in finance as a Financial Analyst at Kagan Research and has also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Renee earned an MBA in Finance from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BS in Engineering from Michigan State University.
