Mariam Moder

Mariam Moder is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Open Source Unit Manager at Alaraby Television Network since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mariam held the position of Senior Journalist and Head of the Video, Photo, and Real-Time Verification Department at Al Jazeera's Verification Unit from July 2022 to January 2023. Extensive journalism experience includes roles as a Specialist in Real-Time Verification and Editor at Agencia-Sand, and as a Freelance Journalist. Earlier career highlights feature a position as an HR Officer at Dar Alandalus and as an Accountant. Mariam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from F.O.C and completed secondary education in Literature at Dar Al-Andalus Islamic School.
