André D. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. André started their career in 1989 as the President of North 49 Technologies, where they provided customized software and hardware solutions. André then worked as a Senior Software Designer at Precise Software Technologies from 1992 to 1996. André joined Mitel as a Senior Hardware Designer and Embedded Software Developer from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they worked as a Systems Engineer at AmikaNow! and then joined PIKA Technologies as a Hardware Group Manager and Senior Designer from 2001 to 2011. At PIKA Technologies, André spearheaded architectural specifications for new products and led the development of the Warp Appliance. From 2011 to 2012, André served as the Manager of Hardware Development at International Datacasting, where they focused on fostering a productive and collaborative work atmosphere. André then joined QNX Software Systems as the Manager of the Roadmap BSP Group and Senior BSP Developer from 2012 to 2015, working on designing Board Support Packages for automotive and industrial equipment companies. In 2015, André became a Senior Hardware Designer at Icontrol Networks until 2017. André is currently working at Alarm.com, where they have held various roles including Senior Hardware Engineer and Office Manager.

André D. pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa. André also engaged in Masters studies in Electrical Engineering at both The University of British Columbia and Carleton University.
