Ian McConnell

Ian McConnell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in eLearning development and instructional design. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Learning Innovation and Operations at Alarm.com since May 2016, Ian has progressed through various roles including Manager of Digital Learning and eLearning Instructional Designer and Developer. Prior to Alarm.com, Ian worked as an eLearning Developer and Instructional Designer in multiple consulting roles, including with TLS Learning, LLC, and Dashe & Thomson. Ian's earlier experience includes teaching positions at Sherwood Middle School, Edgewood Middle School, and Rigler Elementary School. Ian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland.
