Peter Johnson

Peter Johnson possesses extensive experience in engineering, with a career spanning multiple companies and roles primarily focused on hardware and software development. Currently, Peter serves as the Head of Engineering at Alarm.com, overseeing the development of the Piper IoT consumer product in the DIY Home Security and Home Automation sector since June 2015. Previous positions include Director of Engineering Operations at Leapfrog Lighting Inc. and OneChip Photonics, as well as various leadership roles at BTI Systems, Ciena Corporation, BelAir Networks Inc., Catena Networks, Cadence Design Systems, and Nortel Networks. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Dawson College.
