Greg Signal's work experience includes a variety of roles in different companies. Greg started their career as a Web Developer at the University of Canterbury in 2011 before transitioning to an Intern Software Developer at Trineo Ltd. Greg worked on designing and building a Ruby Gem and contributed to multiple live Rails applications.

In 2012, Greg joined Tait Communications as a Junior Engineer, where they collaborated with Scion Research and the National Rural Fire Authority on developing an Android app to provide fire weather information. The app used location data and retrieved information from a web service.

In 2013, Greg co-founded Twingl, where they played a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's technology. Greg also gathered metrics to evaluate feature usage and inform business decisions. The company's product, Trailblazer, aimed to enhance digital literacy in educational environments.

Greg briefly worked as a Tutor at the University of Canterbury before joining Twingl as a Lead Developer and Contract Developer. Greg later worked as a Senior Developer and Tech Lead at Flick Electric Co., contributing to the company's development projects.

In 2019, Greg worked as an Independent Contractor before transitioning to Alasco in 2020. At Alasco, they initially served as a Software Engineer and eventually took on the role of Engineering Manager in March 2021.

Greg Signal attended the University of Canterbury from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering.
