Jennifer Toren is an accomplished professional in information security and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Director of Information Security, GRC at Alaska Airlines since November 2023. In this role, Jennifer oversees compliance programs and governance related to various standards including PCI, SOX, TSA, and NIST frameworks, as well as managing aviation cybersecurity governance. Prior to joining Alaska Airlines, Jennifer led the cybersecurity program at LevelTen Energy, achieving ISO 27001 certification. Earlier career experiences include serving as VP of IT Security and Compliance Services at ControlCase, where Jennifer managed a team providing IT security compliance services, and numerous roles at American Express, focusing on training, account management, and strategic analysis. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Carleton University.
