Mark Byrd

Mark Byrd serves as the Senior Engine Vendor Maintenance Representative for Alaska Airlines since September 2022, overseeing a range of responsibilities for the company's engine fleet, including managing performance restoration shop visits and unplanned engine repairs. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Maintenance Production Supervisor at AAR, leading a team to successfully complete extensive maintenance checks for United Airlines' Boeing 737-800 fleet. Experience as a Lead A&P Mechanic at Certified Aviation Services involved organizing maintenance schedules and coordinating with various departments while ensuring safety and quality standards. Mark's foundational experience includes working as an Aerospace Propulsion Journeyman in the United States Air Force, where significant responsibilities included maintenance on the HC-130J aircraft. Mark Byrd holds an A.A.S. degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, completed in March 2021.
