Michael Tipton is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in application development and web technologies. Currently serving as a Senior .Net/DevOps Software Engineer at Alaska Airlines since February 2023, Michael develops Microsoft/Azure enterprise solutions for the Cargo division, contracted through TIMBER IT. Prior roles include Senior Application Developer, Development Director, and Application Developer at WiredViews from June 2007 to February 2023, as well as Lead Web Developer at In The Round Design Group from August 2005 to June 2007. Michael also worked as a Web Technologies Specialist at the Department of Defense Finance and Accounting Services, where internal web-based applications were developed to manage and reconcile Defense account records. Michael began the career as an Intern Web Developer at DettCom in 2001. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Akron, earned in 2003.
