Jaye Destiny Palmer is a dedicated professional in the field of mental health and crisis intervention, currently serving as a Peer Support Specialist Mobile Outreach for Youth and Families at Alaska Behavioral Health since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jaye worked as a Case Manager for Suicide Prevention at Fairbanks Native Association from March 2022 to March 2023, contributing to the Alaska Native Pandemic Project. Jaye's experience also includes advocating for consumers with the Alaska Mental Health Board and the Statewide Independent Living Council of Alaska from 2018 to 2022, as well as volunteering with NAMI Fairbanks from 2011 to 2013. Jaye holds an Associate Degree in Human Services from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and dual Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees in Liberal Arts with Early Childhood Education from Nassau Community College.
