Bill West

Bill West has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bill started their career in 2006 in the United States Army, where they served as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer-Telecommunications Operations Chief. Bill provided leadership for a network organization and oversaw worldwide deployable VoIP, LAN, and WAN solutions. After leaving the army in 2010, they joined GCI - General Communication, Inc. as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2019. In 2019, they joined Alaska Communications as a Project Manager and was later promoted to Sr. Project Manager in 2022.

Bill West obtained an Occupational Endorsement in Cisco Certified Network Associate from the University of Alaska Anchorage, which they completed between 2009 and 2010. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.
