Heather Rhodes

Heather Rhodes has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Heather started their career in 2004 as the Director of Media & Communications at SeneGence International, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Heather served as the Marketing & Proposal Coordinator at Akmaaq, LLC. Heather then joined MSI Communications in 2011 as an Advertising Coordinator. In the same year, they also joined Alaska Communications as a Sr. Marketing Specialist and later transitioned to the role of Marketing Manager - Mass Markets in 2018. Heather also served as the Chairperson for WLEAD - Women's Leadership, Empowerment, and Diversity from 2017 to 2020.

Heather Rhodes is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Communication Management at the University of Southern California, which they expect to complete in 2024. In 2022, they also obtained a certificate in Managing Complexity in Diverse Organizations (DEIA) from the same university. Prior to their graduate studies, Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, in 1995 to 1998, they attended Montana State University-Bozeman, although the specific degree obtained and field of study are unknown. Heather has also acquired additional certifications, including "Generic Classroom in Human Subject" from the CITI Program in September 2021, "Microsoft Excel II" from National Seminars Training in September 2013, and "Social-Behavioral Human Subjects" from the CITI Program in September 2021.
