Bryan Butcher

Bryan rejoined the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) on August 7, 2013. Prior to his appointment as chief executive officer/executive director, he served as commissioner of the Alaska Department of Revenue from January 2011 to August 2013, as AHFC’s director of governmental relations and public affairs from 2003 to 2011, and as a senior aide to the House and Senate Finance Committees of the Alaska Legislature for the previous 12 years.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon. He sits on the board of directors for the Foraker Group and chairs the Alaska Council on the Homeless.

As a proud alumnus of the University of Oregon, Bryan enjoys watching the Oregon Ducks and other sporting events, reading, and spending time with his wife and two children.
