Kevin joined Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) as an audit specialist in 1993. In his role as director of the internal audit department, he is responsible for overseeing the internal audit and affordable housing compliance programs for AHFC. He manages a staff of three internal auditors and four compliance auditors. He reports jointly to AHFC’s audit committee and the chief executive officer.
Kevin holds a BA in business administration from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and is a graduate of the Bank Administration Institute Graduate School of Retail Bank Management internal audit program. Prior to joining AHFC he worked for Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a regional audit manager, Alliance Bank as vice president/controller of special asset division, and First National Bank of Alaska as an assistant auditor. In total, he has 33 years of internal audit experience. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds certifications in Control Self-Assessment and Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
Kevin and his wife Janet have called Anchorage, Alaska their home for the past 52 years, and despite the wintery conditions, he remains an avid golfer and a Corvette enthusiast.
