Civil Engineer at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Corbyn Navas has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. They currently work as a Civil Engineer at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Environmental Engineer at the Indian Health Service, with roles from June 2020 to September 2020 and from October 2020 (ongoing). Before joining the Indian Health Service, Corbyn worked as a Water and Sanitation Engineer for the Peace Corps from July 2017 to March 2020. They also gained research experience through REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) programs at the University of South Florida, where they conducted studies on anaerobic digestion of fish waste and designed a grey water treatment system for sustainability.

Corbyn Navas holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of South Florida, which they obtained between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering at Boise State University, from 2010 to 2015. In 2011, Corbyn participated in a study abroad program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they focused on Civil Engineering and Spanish. Additionally, in March 2016, they obtained a certification as an Engineer Intern from the State of Idaho Board of Licensure of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
