Crystal Flores

Crystal Flores has a comprehensive work experience history, starting in 2002 with their role as a Quality Management Administrative Clerk at YKHC. Crystal supported database activity and assisted the Quality Management Director in managing complex databases. In 2004, they transitioned to the role of a Performance Improvement Administrative Assistant at YKHC, where they tracked and trended patient satisfaction, clinical indicators, and performance improvement measures. Crystal also provided support to the PI Director in managing databases and generating reports. From 2004 to 2007, Crystal was promoted to the role of Performance Improvement Project Manager at YKHC, where they worked with various managers to accomplish corporate goals and served as a consultant for Employee, Illness, Injury, and Accident Committee and Non-Benefits team. In 2008, they worked at YKHC as a Performance Improvement Administrative Assistant and later as a Temporary Administrative Assistant III at Southcentral Foundation in the Pediatric department. In 2009, Crystal worked as a Risk Management Program Assistant at ANTHC, where they assisted with insurance updates, worker's compensation compliance, and research compliance. In 2010, they returned to YKHC as a Revenue Management Quality & Compliance Manager, examining, analyzing, and performing audits in revenue management departments. Crystal also implemented system changes to improve efficiency. From 2012 to 2013, Crystal continued to work in the same role, refining systems for timely Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment requirements and managing provider documentation. In 2013, they joined the University of Alaska Anchorage as a Program Assistant, providing office support and assisting the program manager in achieving grant goals. Finally, Crystal joined Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) in 2014 as a Data Analyst.

Crystal Flores has a diverse education history that includes a high school diploma from Bethel Regional High School, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at Haskell Indian Nations University from 2000 to 2002. Crystal then attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2003 to 2008, where they focused on Business Administration and Management without specified degree completion. Finally, from 2008 to 2009, they acquired a Diploma in Insurance Coding and Billing Specialist from Alaska Career College (also known as Career Academy), emphasizing Insurance Coding and Billing.
