Milton Kabia Ph.D., DHA, HCISPP, CISSP has extensive work experience in information systems security and technology management. Milton began their career in 2000 as the Chief Executive Officer of Network Design Systems LLC. In 2005, they joined Charter College Anchorage AK as the Associate Dean of Technology, where they oversaw curriculum development and accreditation processes. In 2012, they joined the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as the Senior Systems Network Administrator, responsible for daily administration and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Milton later became the Director of IT Security/ISSO and then the Principal Information Systems Security Officer at ANTHC, where they developed security strategic goals, policies, and access controls. Kabia also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Alaska Pacific University, Northcentral University, and Capella University, teaching courses in business administration and information technology management. Milton also served as an Expert Consultant at Capella Learning Solutions. Throughout their career, Kabia has demonstrated expertise in information systems security, auditing, and integration with business strategies and requirements.

In 1988, Milton Kabia completed their undergraduate education at Njala University College, earning a degree in Agricultural Education.

In 1994, they furthered their education at the University of East Anglia, obtaining a Master's degree in Development.

Milton Kabia continued their academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Security at Northcentral University from 2009 to 2012.

In 2012, they also obtained additional certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MCSA: Windows Server 2008.

From 2017 to 2020, Milton Kabia enrolled in Capella University, where they completed a Doctor of Health Administration degree with a focus on Healthcare Leadership.

During their time in Capella University, Milton Kabia earned the President's List distinction in the Spring of 2018.

Additionally, in 2016, they earned the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)².
