Garry Wallan

Garry Wallan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Garry began their career in retail sales at Sears in Portland, Oregon from September 1973 to June 1977. Garry then worked at Chevron in various roles including Plantman/Warehouseman, Emulsion Plant Operator, and PC Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska from June 1977 to December 1990. Garry moved on to work at US Courts as a Programmer/Analyst from September 1991 to October 1999, and later as an IT Manager from October 1999 to April 2006, supervising a team of three staff members and managing server and network infrastructure for five court offices across Alaska. From July 2007 onwards, Garry has been employed by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) in different positions, including Web Programmer and Web Engineer.

Garry Wallan began their education in 1971 at Reynolds High School, where they completed their high school education. After graduating from high school in 1975, they attended Mount Hood Community College from 1975 to 1977, studying computer science and business. Following their time at Mount Hood Community College, Garry Wallan enrolled at Clark College in 1978 and completed their studies in physics in 1980.
