Enterprise Project Manager at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Joshua York has over 14 years of work experience in various roles. Currently, they are a Senior Enterprise Project Manager at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, where they manage multiple healthcare improvement projects in support of providing quality healthcare for the Alaskan Native people.

Prior to this, Joshua worked at the Armed Forces Research Institute Medical Sciences (AFRIMS) as a Supervisory Facilities Management and Logistics professional. In this role, they supported infectious diseases research initiatives by managing logistics and procurement for various laboratories and administrative buildings. Joshua also facilitated US Department of Defense and State initiatives as the Engineering and Logistics Director for a multi-national research laboratory across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.

Before joining AFRIMS, Joshua served in the United States Army in various leadership positions. Joshua was a Supervisory Facilities Management and Logistics professional at the United States Army Medical Activity Bavaria, where they hired specialty consultants and served as a Project Lead for veterinary clinics' construction projects. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations Medical Company at U.S. Army AMEDD, where they provided exceptional care and acted as a liaison for Coalition Forces in Iraq. Joshua also served as a Battalion Logistics Officer in the United States Army, where they played a crucial role in equipment and troop movement from Iraq to the United States.

Joshua holds an MBA and certifications in Project Management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and Digital Marketing Leadership (DML).

Joshua York has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Joshua holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, earned between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed an Associate Degree in General Studies at Central Texas College from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Joshua York also possesses several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Joshua obtained the Demonstrated Master Logistician certification from SOLE-The International Society of Logistics in July 2022. Joshua earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2020. In June 2018, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Furthermore, they acquired the Federal Contracting Officer for Construction, Design, and Facility Services certification from the United States Department of Defense in September 2013.
