Laurie McKeown

Analytics Engagement Specialist at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Laurie McKeown has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Laurie started their career as a Project Assistant at the University of Alaska Anchorage in November 2002 and later transitioned into the role of Research Associate in February 2003. Laurie then briefly worked as an Administrative Assistant at Stone Soup Group from August to November 2003. Following this, they held the position of Program Assistant at Karta Technologies from February to July 2004, and then at Eyak Technology, LLC from October 2004 to April 2007.

In April 2007, Laurie joined the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), where they started as an Associate Data Analyst and held this role until September 2008. Laurie subsequently became a Health Statistician from September 2008 to November 2012, and later served as a Community Health Performance Improvement Manager from November 2012 to June 2014. Laurie then took on the role of Senior Improvement Programs Administrator from July 2014 until their most recent position as an Analytics Engagement Specialist, which began in April 2022.

Laurie McKeown earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage, completing the program from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) certification in February 2022 from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
