Rachel Waters has a diverse work experience in the field of data and web development. Rachel started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Western Illinois University in 2005. In 2007, they joined the University of Alaska Anchorage where they progressed from a Web Applications Engineer to eventually becoming the Lead Web Applications Engineer. During their time at the university, they were responsible for directing the daily activities of programmers within the Web Applications team and overseeing group projects. Rachel then transitioned to McKinley Capital Management, LLC in 2015, where they worked as a Web Application Developer for three years. In 2018, they joined McKinley Management, LLC as a Data Scientist and held this role until 2023. Currently, Rachel is working as a Data Engineer at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) starting from February 2023.
Rachel Waters earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Rachel further pursued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2007.
