Ed Ulman is a seasoned leader in public media, currently serving as the President & CEO of Alaska Public Media since May 2016, where responsibilities include providing strategic direction, maintaining journalistic standards, and fostering relationships with funders. Prior to this role, Ed Ulman held the position of Executive Director & GM at KBTC Public Television from April 2009 to May 2016, overseeing program administration and community engagement. Earlier experiences include roles such as Education and Outreach Manager at New Mexico PBS, Executive Director at the New Mexico Jazz Workshop, and Executive Director/Education Coordinator at the Tucson Jazz Society. Ed Ulman's academic background includes a Master of Science in Teaching from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Idaho.
