John Fraser is the Director of Mission Impact at Alaska SeaLife Center, focusing on social science strategies and research to enhance the stewardship of arctic marine ecosystems. Previously, John served as the Editor in Chief at Curator: The Museum Journal and as the President & CEO of Knology Ltd. John also held academic positions at Indiana University, Columbia University, Hunter College, and Antioch University, specializing in conservation psychology and earth science literacy. John holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from Antioch University.

Alaska SeaLife Center

The Alaska SeaLife Center generates and shares scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alaska's marine ecosystems. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay in beautiful Seward, Alaska. The facility is open year-round.
