Wei Ying Wong has a strong background in environmental studies and conservation biology, with experience in various educational and leadership roles. They have held positions such as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Science & Education Officer at the Alaska SeaLife Center. Additionally, they have served as the Vice President Learning & Innovation at Woodland Park Zoo and as the Director of Conservation Impact at Philadelphia Zoo. Alaska SeaLife Center
The Alaska SeaLife Center generates and shares scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alaska's marine ecosystems. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay in beautiful Seward, Alaska. The facility is open year-round.
