Tyler Arnold is an experienced entrepreneur and technology professional currently serving as the TREND Program Director at Alaska SBDC since July 2023, where responsibilities include supporting Alaska's entrepreneurs in technology research and development. As the founder of Tyler Systems, established in October 2009, Tyler offers consulting services focused on Software as a Service (SaaS), product development, and online marketing. Tyler has contributed to various organizations, such as serving on the Park Equity Advisory Board since November 2015, providing strategic insights in a dynamic business environment. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Circa Victor Inc., where a software product for political decision-making was developed, and advisory positions at SimplySocial, aiding in social media management solutions. Early entrepreneurial endeavors include founding Purlize, a web development service, and SnobbySlice, which focused on front-end development for advertising firms. Educational background includes attendance at Columbia University and South Anchorage High School, graduating in 2010.
Alaska SBDC
The Alaska SBDC helps small businesses grow throughout Alaska via its expanding online resources and business management expertise. The Alaska SBDC provides resources, advice, and assistance that help small businesses grow and create measurable economic impact throughout Alaska. Assistance is provided by experienced business advisors and experts through on-site and/or online interactions or training, and at no cost to clients. The Alaska SBDC is funded, in part, by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), as well as matching funds from the state of Alaska, and contributions from partner boroughs, cities, and other stewards throughout the state. This statewide program is hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) through the Business Enterprise Institute (BEI).
