Ulrich Naeher

Ulrich Naeher is currently the President of the Advanced Industrials Business Unit at Alat, which is supported by a substantial investment from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. Prior to joining Alat in August 2023, Naeher served as Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of Diebold-Nixdorf AG, in addition to holding senior roles at Wincor Nixdorf, including Head of Systems Business and Head of R&D. With extensive consultancy experience as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, Naeher specialized in high tech and automotive industries, leading global technology practices. Earlier in his career, Naeher worked at Siemens as an engineer focusing on corporate research in microelectronics and conducted postdoctoral research at the Max-Planck Institute. Ulrich Naeher holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research and a Diplom in Physics and Mathematics from Technische Universität München and the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics.
