Alan Mar

Alan Mar, CPA, MST, is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as a Senior Tax Manager at Alation since October 2022. Previously, Alan held the position of Tax Manager at BDO USA, LLP from March 2021 to October 2022, as well as at EY from April 2020 to March 2021. Prior to these roles, Alan was a Director at Alvarez & Marsal between January 2016 and April 2020, and a Senior Tax Accountant at Armanino LLP for the year 2015. Alan's early career included the role of Staff Accountant II at Berger Lewis Accountancy Corporation from January 2012 to December 2014. Alan Mar holds a Master of Science in Taxation from San Jose State University, having completed undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
