Venky Ganti

Venky Ganti is a distinguished technology leader with extensive experience in data management and software development. As co-founder and CTO of Alation since 2013, Venky has focused on helping data consumers effectively find and utilize their data. Venky's expertise includes serving as SVP of Product & Engineering at Numbers Station AI and GM of B2B at Google from 2021 to 2023. Prior to these roles, Venky co-founded and led Mesh Dynamics as CEO, enabling automated API testing for developers. Venky began a career at Microsoft as a Senior Researcher, contributing to projects related to data quality and knowledge graphs, following time at Google as a Member of Technical Staff. Venky holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
