Dani Cea Royes

Dani Cea Royes has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they are employed as a Full Stack Developer at Alaya by Benevity, where they work with technologies such as TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Redux, MongoDB, Jest, Jenkins, and Github. Prior to this, they worked as a Frontend Software Engineer at eDreams ODIGEO for five years, where they were responsible for bug fixing, developing new features, refactoring, QA, testing, and migrating frontend modules to React. They also worked as a DevOps/Full Stack Developer at Deloitte, where they were responsible for development, automation, and data processing for the cybersecurity team of a Spanish bank. In addition, they worked as an Associate Research Engineer at CA Technologies, where they contributed to the LeanBigData project by creating energy and temperature models using Scala and Java. Before that, Dani worked as a Support Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where they developed a distributed Social Media Monitoring tool and provided support for researchers. They also had roles as a Junior Full-Stack Web Developer at BCN Quark Bidimensional Codes and as a Junior Backend Web Developer at ALPIFY SOFTWARE SL. Lastly, they worked as an IT System Administrator at inLab FIB, where they were responsible for system administration in Windows-based systems and provided IT customer service.

Dani Cea Royes pursued a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Technology from 2008 to 2014 at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2013, they also took part in the IT Studies - Erasmus program at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Network & Web technologies.
