Gareth Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Gareh has worked at AlayaCare since 2018, starting as a Customer Experience Agent and progressing through various roles, including Senior Client Experience Agent, Customer Experience Team Lead, Senior Customer Experience Manager - QA, and Associate Director. Gareh is currently serving as the Director of Customer Support. Prior to AlayaCare, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at FreshBooks from 2016 to 2018. Gareth also has experience working with the City of Toronto as a Specialty Program Instructor, where they developed and administered programming for at-risk youth. Gareh has also worked at the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee as a Workforce Training and Scheduling Coordinator, and at the University of Toronto as an Academic Mentorship Ambassador. Additionally, Gareth worked at the Toronto District School Board as a Sports Administrator, where they taught sport-specific skills and managed sporting events.

Gareh Johnson completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Toronto between 2009 and 2014. In addition, Gareh obtained various certifications including the Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1 from SuccessHACKER in April 2022, and certifications in areas such as product management, product analytics, and artificial intelligence from institutions like Pendo.io and Google Cloud Skills Boost. Recently, in 2024, Gareh acquired certifications in G2 Foundation, Introduction to Generative AI, Pendo Essentials, and became Super Certified, all from different institutions.
