Rashid Alhamer

Rashid AlHamer is an accomplished online news editor at ALAYAM Publishing, Bahrain's leading daily newspaper, since May 2005. In addition to this role, Rashid serves as Assistant Secretary General and executive council member of the Federation of Arab Journalists since October 2022 and as a reserve advisor on the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists since June 2022. Rashid also holds the position of Secretary to the Board and Head of International Relations at the Bahrain Journalists Association, where efforts focus on the advancement of journalism and the protection of journalist rights. Since 2011, Rashid has been a media executive at Adline Media Network and gained initial experience as an intern at American Program Bureau from July 2009 to January 2010. Rashid holds an MBA in Global Business & Markets, Management, from Bentley University, completed in 2011, and a BS in Management from the same university, awarded in 2009.
