Paula James

Paula James is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as the Financial Controller at AlbaCo Ltd since May 2023, where responsibilities include leading finance process development for an upcoming bank launch and ensuring the accuracy of key financial systems and reporting. Previously, Paula held various senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group from June 2011 to April 2023, including Head of Finance for Product Control and Financial Reporting, where leadership involved managing finance teams and overseeing P&L reporting, management reporting, and financial reporting processes. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Sun Microsystems as Senior Finance Manager, focusing on accounting and controls within the Worldwide Operations Finance Group. Paula holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
