Shawn Hime

Shawn Hime has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shawn is currently working for the Albany County School District #1, where they hold the position of Chief Information and Cybersecurity Officer since September 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn was a Systems Administrator from November 2022 to September 2023, and a Senior Technician from May 2020 to November 2022 in the same school district.

Before joining the school district, Shawn worked as an Independent Contractor for a short period from March 2020 to May 2020.

Shawn also has significant experience working at the University of Wyoming, where they worked as an Associate Research Scientist from June 2015 to October 2019 and as an Assistant Research Scientist from August 2011 to June 2015. In addition, they served as an Online Instructor for the university's online classes from May 2011 to July 2013, where they facilitated learning and provided instruction and evaluation to students.

Shawn's earlier work experience includes a position as the Director of Information Technology at Bloedorn Lumber Company from October 2007 to August 2010. In this role, they managed computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, and programs for multiple locations. Before this role, Shawn worked as an Assistant Manager at Bloedorn Lumber Laramie from July 1998 to October 2007.

Shawn Hime obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Black Hills State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Developmental Psychology at the University of Wyoming, completing the program from 1999 to 2004.
