Amanda Buhner, MPH, CIC, is a seasoned infection preventionist currently serving as a Senior Infection Preventionist at Albany Medical Center since April 2019. Responsibilities include pandemic planning, implementing exposure prevention strategies, conducting investigations of communicable disease exposures, and managing surveillance activities related to surgical site infections and device-associated infections. Amanda has extensive experience presenting educational programs, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and revising hospital infection control policies.
