Thomas Moran

Thomas Moran currently serves as the Trauma Education and Injury Prevention Outreach Coordinator at Albany Medical Center, focusing on trauma education and outreach for New York's busiest trauma centers since October 2018. In addition, Thomas has been a Referral Access Coordinator II at Niskayuna Fire District 2 since 2013 and holds multiple roles, including Fire Commissioner, Emergency Medical Technician, and Firefighter. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Lab Instructor at Albany Medical Center/HVCC Paramedic Program and working as a Paramedic with Community Emergency Corps. Thomas's military experience encompasses various leadership roles, including G6 Chief of Plans for the United States Third Army and Battalion Executive Officer with the 52nd Signal Battalion. Academically, Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Land Warfare from American Military University and a Bachelor's Degree in European History from the State University of New York at Oswego, alongside educational experiences at Hudson Valley Community College and Kansas City Kansas Community College.
