Melanie Hatch

Melanie Hatch serves as Associate Provost at Albany State University since January 2018, with prior experience as Provost at Middle Georgia State University and Chancellor at Penn State DuBois. Earlier roles include Dean of the College of Engineering and Business at Gannon University, Dean of the College of Business at Indiana Tech, and Associate Dean of the School of Business at Marymount University. Throughout an academic career that began as an Assistant Professor at Miami University, Melanie has extensive experience in academic administration and teaching, particularly in Operations Research and Computer Simulation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Management Science from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Management Science from the University of Dayton, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington.
