Steve Transou Jr.

Steve Transou Jr., Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of First Year Experience at Albany State University, where responsibilities include developing engaging FYE content and training instructors. Steve also holds a position as a Leadership Enrichment Instructor with the Atlanta University Center Consortium, Inc., focusing on equipping scholars with essential wellness skills. Prior experience includes directing sophomore experiences at Lane College and advising students at Vanderbilt University and Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. Steve's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Memphis.
