Ayanna Mitchell

Ayanna Mitchell is currently the Director of Equity Education at Albemarle County Public Schools. Prior to this role, Ayanna served as an Assistant Principal within the same school district. With a background as a Classroom Teacher at Manassas Park City Schools, Ayanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Dowling College, as well as Master's degrees from George Mason University in Educational Leadership and Administration. Ayanna also holds a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Business School Online.
