Allison Wrabel

Allison Wrabel is a seasoned journalist and community engagement professional with extensive experience in reporting and program development. Currently serving as a Community Connector and previously as an Equity Program Development Fellow at Albemarle County since June 2022, Allison has a strong background in news media, including a significant tenure at The Daily Progress where coverage focused on business and Albemarle County from August 2015 to May 2022. Early career positions include roles as an Assistant City Editor at Columbia Missourian, an Investigative Intern at USA TODAY, and various reporting and editorial positions at the Columbia Missourian and the University of Missouri. Allison holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus on Print and Digital Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained in 2015.
