Lara Andrake, MBA, MHA, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience. Lara currently holds the role of Chief, Shared Services, Risk Management and Analytics at Albemarle County since October 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Healthcare Fund Analyst at Albemarle County from December 2020 to October 2022. Lara has also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Piedmont Virginia Community College since August 2022. Before that, they pursued an MBA & MHA degree at Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences Mary Baldwin University from August 2018 to May 2021. Lara was a Sr. Fiscal Technician at UVA Health Sciences Library from April 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at University of Virginia Health System from October 2016 to April 2019. Lara also held the role of Accountant at City of Charlottesville Redevelopment & Housing Authority from July 2015 to October 2016. Lara started their career at University of Virginia as a Client Relationship Manager from January 2010 to December 2014, where they were responsible for account management, website content and maintenance, database management, client recruitment and orientation, and building relationships within the University of Virginia community.

Lara Andrake holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Virginia, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Lara also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Piedmont Virginia Community College, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009.

Lara Andrake pursued further education and earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from Mary Baldwin University, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Lara completed this degree from 2018 to 2021.
