Michael Stumbaugh

Michael Stumbaugh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael'smost recent role is as Deputy Chief of Transportation Projects at Albemarle County. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Virginia Parking & Transportation as the Assistant Director for Facilities and Operations. Michael also has experience as a Construction & Development Manager at Commonwealth Assisted Living, an Operations Project Manager at Vectora Transportation, and a Real Estate Project Manager at UVA Foundation. Additionally, they have a background as an Interim Director of General Services/Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Albemarle County. In the early years of their career, Stumbaugh worked as a Mechanical Engineer at 2rw Consultants, Inc. and as an Energy Conservation Engineer and Producibility Engineer in the US Army.

Michael Stumbaugh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they completed a Master of Engineering Management degree at The George Washington University from 1987 to 1990.
