Shenandra Usher has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer for Albemarle County since June 2021. Prior roles include Director of Accounting and Accountant for the City of Decatur, and Accountant for the City of Brookhaven, Georgia. Shenandra also held the position of Accounting Manager at the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia and served as a Senior Accountant at Clayton State University. Earlier career highlights include a role as Accountant III/Supervisor at the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Shenandra holds a Master of Business Administration from Clayton State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from the same institution, along with an associate degree in Accounting from Georgia State University Perimeter College.
