Bart Nelissen

Bart Nelissen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global analytical and quality management roles at Albemarle Corporation since August 2000. Currently serving as the Sr Director, Global Process Framework and Governance Lead, Bart has led significant initiatives, including the S4 HANA business transformation project focused on Quality Management. Previously, Bart held leadership positions overseeing global analytical organizations, supporting manufacturing and R&D within the Refining Solutions and corporate sectors. Earlier in his career, Bart contributed to the NIMIC consortium as a management team member and work package leader, achieving groundbreaking nano-scale imaging results. Prior experience includes a scientist role at AkzoNobel, specializing in advanced microscopy techniques. Bart holds a PhD in Physics from Radboud University, earned between 1980 and 1994.
