Bo Brantley

Vice President, Global HS&E and Manufacturing Excellence at Albemarle

Bo Brantley is responsible for overseeing the company’s health and safety initiatives designed to protect our people, assets, environment and communities, while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.

Brantley joined Albemarle in 1999 as a Research and Technology Engineer. Over the past 21 years, he has held a variety of progressive leadership roles, primarily in manufacturing operations and business management. Most recently, Brantley served as Vice President, Catalyst Manufacturing & PCS Business. In this dual role he was responsible for production, HS&E, strategic sourcing, S&OP planning, and cost management for the catalyst global business unit as well as leading the commercial team responsible for marketing Organometallic and Curatives products. He also has served as Plant Manager at three union and non-union facilities and held a variety of roles in business management.

Brantley earned his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
