Colin Chen

Colin Chen is an experienced plant and country manager currently serving at Albemarle Corporation since March 2020. Previously, Colin held the position of Site Manager at BASF for TPU and ETPU plants from January 2019 to March 2020 and served as Site Manager at DSM-AGI Corporation Ltd, focusing on UV curable resins from June 2016 to December 2018. Prior roles include HSE Director and Industrial Management Director at Air Liquide from November 2012 to May 2016, as well as production leadership roles at Styron LLC and Dow Chemical, where responsibilities encompassed plant performance, safety, and operational management. Early career foundations were established at Formosa Plastic Group as a Research Associate and Planner, and prior military service included a role as Lieutenant platoon leader. Colin holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Tatung University.
