David L. has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT support. David started their career in 2009 as a Connect Pro Computer Technician at Future Shop, which is now operated by Best Buy. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Instructor and Technical Consultant at Berlitz Colombia. In 2014, they joined Central Piedmont Community College as an Information Systems Technician, responsible for maintaining computer systems and resolving service tickets. In 2015, they joined Babcock & Wilcox as a Global Service Desk Analyst before being promoted to Cybersecurity Analyst and then Senior Cybersecurity Analyst. David'sresponsibilities included AV infrastructure support, FortiGate firewall configuration, Okta administration, incident response coordination, and network monitoring. In 2018, they joined Albemarle Corporation as an Identity Access Lead Engineer, overseeing the security of identities, architecting RBAC, managing user lifecycles, and handling incident response, cloud security, digital forensics, and IDp administration.
David L. obtained their Associate's Degree in Information Systems Security and Cybercrime from Central Piedmont Community College, which they attended from 2014 to 2015. David also holds certifications in Access Data Certified Examiner, A+, Net+, and Sec+.
