Gianni Fernandez

Gianni Fernandez is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in chemical and environmental engineering. Currently serving as CSU Manager at Albemarle Corporation since September 2016, Gianni leads a commissioning and startup team for the southern area of Project Phase 3&4. Previously, Gianni worked as a freelance process and environmental consultant from February 2014 to September 2016, providing studies and advisory services to private companies and state agencies focused on regulatory compliance and cost reduction in environmental control. Prior experience includes a project engineer role at Ingenieria Alemana S.A., where responsibilities involved the development of projects related to wastewater control and compliance monitoring at a national level. Gianni also served as an advisor at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and holds dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the same institution.
