Jalesh Kalra

Jalesh Kalra has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the chemical and energy industries. Jalesh most recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Albemarle Corporation, where they were responsible for global strategy and all commercial functions. Prior to that, Jalesh was a VP/General Manager at The Lubrizol Corporation, overseeing a global business unit and leading its growth and sustainability efforts. Jalesh also held roles at Honeywell, where they served as a Sr. Product Line Manager and Principal, Technology Manager, responsible for managing global business P&L, strategic marketing, and technology development. Earlier in their career, Jalesh worked at INEOS as a Plant Manager and at Ashland as a Lead Engineer. Jalesh began their career at BP Amoco, where they held various engineering and R&D roles. Overall, Jalesh has a proven track record of driving business growth, managing cross-functional teams, and developing long-term strategic plans.

Jalesh Kalra holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangalore University, which they obtained between 1997 and 2001. Jalesh then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005. Later, they earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management from DePaul University in 2010. In 2014 to 2016, Jalesh attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Continuing their education, in 2018 to 2019, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Mergers & Acquisitions: Strategy, Execution, and Post-Merger Management from Harvard Business School. Jalesh also holds additional certifications in Project Management from DePaul University and Six Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell International.
