James Springer serves as the R&D Director at WR Grace since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in research and development within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to this role, James held positions as an R&D Specialist at Albemarle, starting in January 2011, and as R&D Manager and Senior Scientist at Vertellus from May 2006 to December 2010. Previous experiences include working as a Senior Research Scientist at DSM and a Senior Scientist at Wykoff Chemical/Catalytica, as well as a Laboratory Tech III at Bayer CropScience. James holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from Park University.
