Richard Oldland

Richard Oldland has a diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Richard started their career at Honeywell as a Process Engineer from 2001 to 2003. Richard then joined The Dow Chemical Company, where they worked as a Process Engineer from 2005 to 2008, and later held roles as Production Engineering Specialist, Operations Leader, and Lead Production Manager and Site Maintenance Leader. In 2015, Oldland joined Albemarle Corporation as Manager Chemical Operations, responsible for the manufacturing of lithium-based products. Richard then progressed through roles such as Global Asset and Business Manager, Global Business Manager for Brominated Fire Safety Solutions, Sr. Global Business Manager for Battery Grade Lithium Metal portfolio, Strategic Account Director for Lithium Sales, and Vice President, Strategic Accounts - Energy Storage. In these roles, they focused on developing collaborative relationships, driving shared growth objectives, and coordinating with other departments to develop next-generation advanced energy storage materials and flame retardants. Richard Oldland earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Texas McCombs School of Business in the years 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2004. Richard's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 1997 to 2001.
